1936 Pontiac

Built in 1936 by Russells of Bexhill for Captain Dunn, this motor home was only on the road for 4 years before being barn stored after Captain Dunn had died.

51 years later, in 1991 it was awaken from its sleep, after Mrs Dunn had passed away. The vehicle was in a time warp having still only covered 8,661 miles, it was painstakingly restored to its original condition.

The 36 Pontiac restoration was completed in 1992, and this old lady has been on permanent display at Kampers & Kars, Poole ever since, and still causes a magical atmosphere at car shows.
