Escort van to Sci-fi Gravity Racer
The van was gutted and space framed, and inside the rear end a tubular axle held a Boeing 747 landing wheel, which gave the vehicle immense inertia momentum when rolling down a hill. If you study the pictures you can just make out the top of the jumbo jet wheel poking through the roof.
The body was seriously altered to make Newton's Nightmare a fully Sci-Fi style racer.
